Our Midwest Tour, Leg 2 {Grammy & Papa's House}

Next stop on our grand midwest tour was Grammy and Papa's house, so after lunch on Monday (the 3rd) the kids and I headed north from Pella (Brad had left earlier that morning to try to make it back to Midland by the time his softball team played that night).  For the next 10 days, we filled their home with noise and chaos and a whole heck of a lot of fun!

{early morning snuggles}

At the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota

We celebrated my oldest brother's 40th birthday on Friday the 7th with a good old fashioned surprise party.

{So...I agreed to let the boys sleep with me one night each.  This is at 2 in the morning.  He's on my pillow.  Sharing a bed with kids is just never a good idea.}

{Water play at Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Ashley's.}

Picnic and play at Sibley Park

City Art Sculpture Tour, Downtown Mankato

{followed by ice cream at Mom & Pop's}

{A little break for me as I met up with my friend Kathy for dinner.  Wonderful food, life-giving and spirit-filling conversation.  Two big thumbs up.}

{We introduced the cousins to geocaching and found our biggest cache all summer!}

Finally made it to Target Field!  Taking in the Twins vs. Rangers game on Tuesday the 11th.

So fun.

So full.

So tired!
